The Distribution Shed
Donated by the Montachusett Area Rotary Club – 2024
In 2024, the Montachusett Area Rotary Club generously donated a permanent shed to Veteran Family Connections.
This structure serves as a central distribution point and focal gathering space for our outreach efforts. It allows us to organize, distribute, and promote support for veterans, active-duty military members, and their families in a consistent, visible way.
More than a building, the shed represents:
• A long-term commitment from Rotary to our mission
• A physical symbol of community partnership
• A dedicated space to honor and support those who served
The Distribution Shed strengthens our ability to serve year-round — from seasonal programs to ongoing support initiatives — and stands as a reminder that our community stands behind its veterans.

A Community Volunteer Tradition
Each year, when the Christmas trees arrive, our holiday season officially begins.
Before any event takes place, a dedicated group of volunteers comes together to unload trees, prepare the grounds, organize event spaces, and help transform the property into a welcoming holiday setting for the entire community.
This annual setup day is powered by the generosity and energy of:
• ABA Life Skills
• Leominster High School Football Team
• Local businesses
• Community members
• Rotary members
• And many other volunteers
Their hands-on support lays the foundation for every holiday activity that follows.
This day reflects what Veteran Family Connections stands for — not just serving military families, but uniting the broader community in service together.
It is a powerful example of civilians, students, service organizations, and businesses working side by side to support veterans and military families.
